How to Renew Your Florida PE License

Complete 18 PDH
Complete 18 PDH during the 2-year renewal period. Keep certificates of completion — the Florida Board of Professional Engineers may audit your CE records.

Submit your renewal application
Log in to the Florida Board of Professional Engineers online licensing portal before your license expiration date. Complete the renewal application and attest to CE completion if required.

Pay the $125 renewal fee
Pay the $125 base renewal fee. If renewing after expiration but within the 90-day grace period, the late fee of $250 applies.

Confirm license renewal
Download or print your renewed license. Verify your new expiration date and confirm the license appears as active in the Florida Board of Professional Engineers's public license lookup.
