How to Renew Your Maine RN License

Complete any required CE
Maine does not currently require continuing education for Registered Nurse renewal. Confirm with the Maine State Board of Nursing before submitting your renewal.

Log in to the Maine State Board of Nursing online licensing portal before your license expiration date. Complete the renewal application and attest to CE completion if required.

Pay the $125 renewal fee
Pay the $125 base renewal fee. If renewing after expiration but within the 60-day grace period, the late fee of $250 applies.
